Zahid Iqbal

Chairman, PAFI | COO, EBM

Zahid Iqbal brings 26 years of FMCG leadership to his role as Chairman of PAFI and COO of EBM. He has driven major initiatives in brand management, sales, trade marketing, international business, commercial operations and HR. Known for strengthening systems and teams, he has been central to EBM’s rise as a market leader. At PAFI, he focuses on industry collaboration, policy reform and sustainable sector growth.

Imran Husain

Imran Husain is a business leader with over 35 years of FMCG experience spanning finance, sales, and corporate strategy. Currently the Deputy Managing Director at FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited, he leads the company’s Finance, Corporate Affairs, and Milk Procurement functions. Throughout his career, which includes senior leadership roles at Unilever and Engro Fertilizers , he has been recognized for driving large-scale organizational transformations and strengthening corporate governance. A former director for two public listed companies , Imran is also a member of the global Virtual Advisory Board.

Shahzad Sikander

Vice Chairman, PAFI
Head of Regulatory Affairs, PepsiCo Pakistan & Afghanistan

With 25 years in food safety, quality and regulatory compliance, Shahzad Sikander leads Regulatory Affairs at PepsiCo for Pakistan and Afghanistan. His expertise covers CODEX, EU and FDA regulations. He also chairs the Food Additive Technical Committee at PSQCA and serves on the PCSIR Labs board. At PAFI, he contributes to regulatory advancement and sector-wide advocacy.

Owais Nadeem

Manager Regulatory Affairs, The Magnum Ice Cream Company

Owais Nadeem is a food technologist with 18+ years of global experience across food safety, quality and regulatory systems. His career spans Unilever Pakistan, aquaculture operations in Saudi Arabia and auditing roles in England. He helped secure the first-ever Global GAP and Global BAP certifications in the GCC & MENA region and has supported food safety programmes for NATO. He also advises PFA and PSQCA through technical boards.

Khurram Hasan Khan

GM Quality & R&D, Young’s Pvt Ltd.

With over 26 years in food technology, regulatory compliance and halal standards, Khurram Hasan Khan leads Quality and R&D at Young’s. A long-time visiting faculty member at the University of Karachi, he has worked to bring academia and industry closer. His contributions at PAFI focus on aligning local regulations with international standards and supporting a unified national food manufacturing framework.

Dr. Muhammad Sajjad

GM Corporate Quality Assurance, Qarshi Industries

Dr. Muhammad Sajjad is a microbiologist with more than two decades of expertise in food microbiology, molecular biology and quality assurance. At Qarshi Industries, he leads corporate QA and oversees regulatory compliance. His earlier roles include senior positions at K&N’s and multinational food companies. He serves on scientific panels for PFA and PSQCA and works with BOI on strengthening industry standards.

Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Sipra

Director Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, The Coca-Cola Company

Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Sipra oversees scientific and regulatory affairs for Coca-Cola (Pakistan & Afghanistan). With 15+ years of experience in quality, food safety and compliance, he specialises in sustainability, supplier management and occupational safety. A Ph.D. in Food Science, he has held senior QSE roles and now leads strategy, compliance and regulatory engagement for the company.

Mian Mitha

Corporate Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Manager, Nestlé Pakistan

A veteran of 18 years at Nestlé, Mian Mitha has worked across quality assurance, regulatory affairs and scientific engagement. With an M.Sc. (Hons) in Food Science, he has contributed to national standards and participated in global regulatory work at Nestec S.A., Switzerland. His expertise spans CODEX, EU and FDA regulations, supporting science-based policy development in Pakistan.

Shabir G. Chandio

Corporate Lawyer

Shabir Chandio is a corporate lawyer with over a decade of experience advising leading pharma and FMCG companies. With a law degree and an MBA, he specialises in regulatory frameworks and business-focused legal strategy. At Shan Foods, where he has served for more than seven years, he oversees global legal and corporate affairs, helping navigate complex governance requirements across markets.

Atif Warsi

Senior Manager Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, National Foods Limited

Atif Warsi brings over 10 years of experience across regulatory affairs, food science and product development. With degrees from IBA and a background in Food Science & Technology, he integrates scientific rigour with strategic decision-making. His work at National Foods supports compliant product innovation and alignment with national and international standards.

Fazal Hajano

Head of Legal, National Foods

Fazal Hajano brings extensive inhouse expertise across corporate law, regulatory affairs and governance. With a career spanning senior roles at Engro Foods, Meezan Bank and other leading organizations, he is recognized for his strong command of compliance, commercial law and proactive legal advisory. His academic background includes an LLM in Corporate & Commercial Law from Queen Mary University of London, supported by degrees in law and international relations from leading Pakistani institutions. At National Foods, he plays a pivotal role in strengthening legal frameworks, guiding risk management and supporting strategic decision making.

Hussain Ali Talib

Head of Communications, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability, Unilever Pakistan Limited

With over 24 years of experience in journalism, public relations and corporate communications, Hussain drives strategic engagement with government, industry, media and communities. He strengthens the organization’s reputation through impactful public policy work, sustainability initiatives and transparent stakeholder dialogue. Known for his leadership and ability to navigate complex environments, he plays a key role in shaping Unilever’s corporate narrative and longterm social impact.
