Committees

The Policy & Advocacy Committee leads our work with government bodies and regulators. It reviews new policies, responds to public consultations, and represents member concerns in official forums. Its goal is to create fair, practical regulations that protect consumers while allowing businesses to operate smoothly.

The Technical & Food Safety Committee focuses on the science behind food standards. This includes reviewing testing requirements, advising on safe manufacturing practices, and helping members stay aligned with national and global benchmarks. It works closely with laboratories, auditors, and experts to strengthen food safety across the entire industry.

The Sustainability & CSR Committee drives our environmental and social goals. It supports members in improving energy and water efficiency, reducing waste and packaging impact, and adopting responsible sourcing practices. It also oversees community-focused initiatives and long-term sustainability commitments.

The Trade & Exports Committee helps members access new markets by working on trade facilitation, certifications, and international requirements. It identifies export opportunities, organizes delegations, and supports businesses in meeting foreign market standards so they can grow beyond Pakistan.

The Membership & Events Committee ensures members feel supported and connected. It manages onboarding, communication, and engagement, and organizes events, workshops, and networking opportunities so members can learn, collaborate, and stay informed.
